Ricardo Miguel is the Director and Course Coordinator of the Management and Programming of Information Systems programme and a lecturer at Escola Profissional de Aveiro, where he has taught for the past three years. He holds a Level 5 qualification in Management and Programming of Information Systems from ESTGA (Polytechnic Institute) and previously completed the same specialisation at Level 4 at Escola Profissional de Aveiro.
With five years of professional experience in software development, Ricardo combines strong technical expertise with project management practice, supporting the planning and delivery of applied, industry-oriented projects in educational and professional contexts. He also has experience in data analysis, with a particular focus on fast data working with high-velocity data streams to support timely insights and decision-making.
In parallel, he is co-owner of Doretouch, a company specialised in professional image retouching, where he contributes to the delivery of high-quality visual and post-production outcomes
