He teaches vocational courses in Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, and Industrial Systems. With a degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on Industrial Systems from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra, he is dedicated to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning through professional development.

Currently, he serves as President of the National Association of Electrotechnics and Electronics Teachers. He also has entrepreneurial experience as a founding partner of an electrical installation company, a software company, and a bar. He has taught Computer Engineering and Information Technology programs at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.

In his school, António Pereira is the course director for vocational courses in Electrotechnics and Automation, a position he has held in various schools. He is part of the GEPEI (Office for Vocational Education, Internships, and Internationalization) and coordinates the Robotics Club and the Ciência Viva Club at the school. Additionally, he is part of the Erasmus+ team, coordinating project applications.

Brais Arias Rio is a computer science teacher with a solid academic background that includes the ASIR cycle and computer engineering. Currently, he teaches vocational and secondary education at Liceo La Paz.

As an active member of several technological communities in A Coruña, nowadays Brais stands out in Python Coruña, where he co-organizes monthly events and talks. A faithful advocate of free software, he has participated in numerous projects and is a regular attendee of Fosdem, collaborating with KDE to promote free software.

He is also an active member of GPUL(a Linux Programmers and Users Group, based in A Coruña), where he has given and continues to give talks about free software, current situation of tech-jobs and the professional future of students, also Arduino workshops and he has collaborated as a member of the tribunal of the award for the best Free Software University Project in Galicia. His dedication to education and technology makes him a valuable member of the education and technology community.

Mónica Pérez Sueiro is a computer science teacher at Liceo La Paz with a strong interest and background in web design, UX and UI. She has a degree in computer engineering and currently teaches courses like local networks, web design, markup languages and computer security at the Vocational Training level.

She is an advocate of free software and an active member of the technology community in his city, A Coruña, and is also a member of GPUL (a Linux Programmers and Users Group, based in A Coruña), and being part of its board has participated in the organisation of events such as GUADEC and Akademy-es.

She has been teaching for more than ten years, in the field of student support, from physics, chemistry or mathematics, to biology or Galician language in different levels of education. She is committed with free and open knowledge to innovative education and collaboration to prepare students for the labour market and to contribute positively to society.

Jennifer Meléndez-Luces is an educator and researcher, holding a Doctorate in Educational Equity and Innovation. As the Director of ESID Liceo La Paz and Coordinator of Erasmus+ programs, Jennifer has demonstrated her commitment to international education and cultural inclusion. She has been an integral member of the DIGILEC research group at the University of La Coruña since 2018, where she focuses on pluricultural studies and bilingual education, particularly for Roma-Gypsy students.

Her extensive teaching experience includes roles as an English teacher and Dual American High School Tutor at Colegio Liceo La Paz, alongside her responsibilities as an exam invigilator for Cambridge Assessment International Education. Jennifer’s professional journey is marked by her dedication to fostering inclusive education and her active participation in methodological innovation groups. Her scholarly contributions, including publications on culturally responsive teaching and plurilingual competence, further underscore her expertise and passion for educational equity.

She began her career in international trade, which was an excellent stepping stone to her current role. She now teaches a variety of sales and marketing subjects, sharing her expertise and experience with her students.

In addition to her teaching, she has authored professional articles and presented papers at industry conferences, as well as mentoring students in the development of their dissertations. As an organiser of student placements, she works closely with key stakeholders in the labour market to provide valuable hands-on opportunities for her students.

She is also actively involved in several international entrepreneurship projects, contributing to innovative initiatives and fostering cross-border collaboration.

Andreja Petrovič is the headmistress of the Higher Vocational College. She has a degree in education and sociology and a master’s degree in social informatics. She also has many years of experience in managing and implementing school, national and international projects. She actively promotes EU values and active citizenship in schools and is particularly committed to digitalisation and sustainability. Creativity, initiative, teamwork and responsibility are important to her.

She is a manager in the AgileDT project and a member of the DT team.

Graduated in Teaching of English and Portuguese and post-graduated in Portuguese Studies. From 1999 to 2004 she was a teacher of both languages at public schools and from then to 2018 she had her teaching and tutoring tasks at a vocational school – AEVA-Escola Profissional de Aveiro.

Currently she is a full time Project Manager at the international department at AEVA (Citizens Projects). Responsible, versatile and dedicated, she is involved in developing content and materials, elaboration of reports, intellectual outputs, translation of texts, among others, and coordinates individual mobility projects (KA1) for VET students.

Graduated in Languages and Modern Literatures and in Teaching of English and Portuguese and post-graduated in School Administration. Until 2004 she was a teacher of English at AEVA-Escola Profissional de Aveiro, at which point she became Pedagogical Director at the same school, a position she held until 2019. At this point, she moved into a full-time position as Project Coordinator at AEVA-Citizens Projects, a task she still holds.

Good mood, energetic and committed, as executive director of the Citizens Projects, she oversees and manages all of AEVA’s Erasmus+ projects since 2001.

She is a professor specialising in Human Resources and Career Guidance with a strong commitment to the academic and professional success of her students. She believes that the results of her students are her top priority, which is why she has developed a teaching method that focuses on dynamic and engaging classes designed to make learning both enjoyable and effective, while ensuring positive outcomes.

With previous experience as an administrative professional, she believes that her professional background adds value to her teaching. This experience allows her to complement the theoretical curriculum with practical examples and real-life situations, making her classes more relevant and applicable to the realities of the job market.
